This is my first time to work with my blog, There's a lot of ideas that came up to my mind what will be my first post to be published. As a beginner, our Professor in Web Page Design and Construction instructed us to discussed about the web 2.0. Actually, the term new to me and its a little bit of confusing and complicated, all i knew is the term web. As I gone through with the study of web 2.0, i found out that there's a lot of things that i need to know and there's a broader idea that needs attention as an IT student when using and studying the internet technology. The birth of web 2.0 as defined by Tim O'Reilly is a business revolution in the computer industry caused by the move to the Internet as a platfrom, and an attempt to understand the rules for success on that new platform. Below is the definition which i got from wikipedia and a photo of Tim O'Reilly.
Web 2.0 describes the changing trends in the use of World Wide Web technology and web design that aim to enhance creativity, communications, secure information sharing, collaboration and functionality of the web. What is all about the web 2.0 purpose is to have a higher level of people connectivity throughout the world, it will be a good frontier of design innovation for the field of education and in business to shift from static pages of old sources of information to a more advance and standards based approach in terms of proactivity, accessing content, collaboration, information sharing and social networking within the web framework, which pushes creativity for the user to enhace, develop, share and access content rather than providing content for them. This includes blogging, video sharing, RRS new feeds, wikis and podcasts. This put web 2.0 as a platform that facilitate greater interaction on the content that will encourage active participation for all users to be part in the e-society and to vanished the isolation of inviduality.
As we move along there's a lot of upcoming technology that will be a system of learning that facilitate productive output for the youth or for the next generation.
